AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Currently, Globetrotter Kids is taught as an after-school program in Austin at Gullett Elementary and Brentwood Elementary. Please contact info@globetrotterkids.net if you would like to have this taught at your school.

OTHER PROGRAMS

Globetrotter Kids can be brought to your school, club, Boy Scout or Girl Scout meeting, birthday party, or even home! There are over 30 countries to choose from and each presentation is 45 minutes long with crafts, games, and handouts. Please contact info@globetrotterkids.net for more information.

CALENDAR

SPRING 2022

Please join us this spring for an online after-school club (with Teaching Kits delivered/mailed to each student for each country)!

One-hour weekly online classes (Wednesdays 4:00 to 5:00 pm).

THIS PROGRAM INCLUDES A FUN TEACHING KIT THAT IS DELIVERED TO THE STUDENT AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH MONTH/NEW COUNTRY – WITH MAPS, COUNTRY FACTS, LANGUAGE LESSONS, GAMES, RECIPES, AND CRAFTS, INCLUDING SUPPLIES!

Additionally, there will also be one cooking class, per country, at Ms. Leslie’s house.
Date and time TBD (and if the current COVID situation allows).

Also included: weekly e-mails with extra activities and lessons - and a gift related to the country being studied!

EGYPT: March 2– March 30 (4 online classes)
Learn about Egypt’s amazing history – pharaohs, pyramids, hieroglyphics, etc.!; make a sarcophagus and mummy; create a personal cartouche with hieroglyphics; make and play an ancient Egyptian board game… and more!
UNITED KINGDOM: April 6 – April 27 (4 online classes)
Learn about the many fascinating areas that make up the United Kingdom – England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland; make a double-decker bus and take a “tour” of London; have high tea; learn some fun English words and sayings (very different from our American English)… and more!
NEW ZEALAND: May 4 – May 25 (4 online classes)
Learn about this beautiful island nation on the other side of the globe!; make some traditional Māori art; get to know the animals of New Zealand, including the Kiwi bird; study the Māori language; learn how to play rugby… and more!
